Animal Omens: Spiders
Many humans tend to kill what they consider to be unwanted intruders, such as spiders and the like, when they come into their home, but I would suggest thinking carefully before doing that. They may be there to give a message to you. I’ve had quite a few such omens appear in my life. This entry I’ll talk about my experiences with spiders.
Over the decades I’ve noticed, more and more, that when I encounter insects, arachnids, or mammals, they are generally a harbinger of something that is coming.
When I was younger, I used to experience panic and fear when something like a spider would appear in my room.
I’m not proud to say that I did not rest until they were removed, one way or another.
Somewhere, over the past ten or so years, I found I became more connected with things, and it became easier to trust in the process.
Spiders
I used to fear spiders. Though, in Australia, when a massive Huntsman crawls past you when you’re young, I don’t think many would blame you for the freak out.
For me, spiders have been a sign of an incoming windfall of some kind.
They tend to crawl on me when a reasonable sum of unexpected money will appear in the next few months.
It took me a while to not react when a spider appears. I now thank and bless the spider.
My most recent incident was earlier this year, when I felt one land on my neck, run down to my foot and then immediately onto the carpet where it stayed there for around 30 minutes before moving on.
Sure enough, within three months, I did receive an unexpected windfall.
Huntsman
The first time this happened, though, I’m not proud to say that I had a major panic attack. It was in the year 2001. I was up at night, on my computer, while everyone else was sleeping. I couldn’t sleep, so I played a game. The lights were off, and I suddenly felt a quick, featherlight tingle, on my hand.
Half an hour later, I went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror and there was a huge Huntsman Spider sitting on my shoulder. As I had been wearing a dressing gown, I did not notice it till then.
I screamed, ripped off the dressing gown, and it was me versus the spider. Huntsman are not shy with defending themselves, so once it knew it was in danger, it did stand its ground.
Regret
I often regret killing it now. It was doing me no harm and I’ve left them alone since that day.
What I should have done was calmly removed my dressing gown and taken it to a safe place to let it continue its journey.
And yes, I did get an unexpected windfall later that year. It was enough to put a deposit down on a house with my ex-wife.
They Mean Us No Harm
Spiders do good work for us. I know they can seem creepy, dangerous, and erratic, and that’s what makes them scary to most.
But, if left to their own devices, they will help keep your house free of unwanted pests.
I’ve also noticed that they seem to respond to my intentions and thoughts.
Once they understand that I mean them no harm, they will continue doing what they do, as if I am not there.
If they are in a place where they will get hurt, like the shower, I will send them a message that they can’t be there, and they need to move. I also project that as an image. Sure enough, when I return in a few minutes, they have indeed moved on.
Spy-der
There is a chance that spiders can be possessed and used to keep an eye on you. You can normally tell if they are, by the fact, they will die very quickly. Normally within a day or so.
If I am feeling suspicious, I will send energy to exorcise any demonic entity that might be using the body as a means for spying.
It’s hard to say if that works or not, but I do notice that since I have been doing this, I’ve had no spiders quickly dying around me.
And yes, I know how paranoid this may sound, but I also know, for a fact, that such things can be possessed. It was one of the little tidbits that I picked up with my association with Omen. I had already long suspected it, but it was confirmed.
I’m not sure what they hope to gain by keeping an eye on me, but it certainly seems to be a fact of my life.
In Conclusion
Generally, spiders have no interest in attacking humans. They will avoid them if possible. Yes, bites do occur, but normally they are by accident, and not because of some carefully crafted plot against us.
There are a lot of bad myths and misinformation about spiders. It’s well worth looking into them as it can really help with arachnophobia.
Fact is, if they were as bad and as dangerous as we believe them to be, the human race would have been wiped out long ago.
If you encounter one, it may be a good omen and a sign that money is coming your way.
